This Privacy Policy explains how Talkura collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Talkura website, mobile application, and related services.

Talkura is a language-learning product centered on voice conversations, tutor selection, scenario practice, progress tracking, and vocabulary review.

We may collect account details such as email address, Sign in with Apple identifiers, authentication tokens, and basic profile settings.

We may collect onboarding preferences such as target language, instruction language, tutor selection, tutor coaching style (supportive, playful, or coach), goals, reminder choices, and other learning-plan inputs you provide.

We may process session data including scenario selections, transcripts, voice interaction metadata, lesson performance, vocabulary review outcomes, subscription status, and support communications.

We may collect device identifiers, app launches, product interactions, subscription conversion events, and campaign or attribution information to understand which advertising leads people to Talkura.

We use information to authenticate users, personalize tutors and lessons, run live practice sessions, provide pronunciation and lesson feedback, maintain streaks and review queues, process subscriptions, and improve reliability and safety.

We may also use information to diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and respond to user support requests.

Talkura uses AppsFlyer to measure app installs, subscription conversions, and advertising campaign performance. AppsFlyer may process device identifiers and product-interaction data for attribution and analytics.

On supported Apple devices, Talkura asks for permission through App Tracking Transparency before accessing the advertising identifier. If you decline, Talkura and AppsFlyer can still receive privacy-preserving, aggregated, or non-IDFA measurement data.

We use attribution data to evaluate our own campaigns, not to sell personal information or build an unrelated cross-app advertising profile.

We may share information with infrastructure, authentication, analytics and attribution providers (including Mixpanel and AppsFlyer), subscription providers, and AI service providers that help operate Talkura, subject to contractual or technical controls appropriate to the service.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Talkura, our users, or the public.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain product records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information by contacting us at privacy@talkura.app.

You may also manage reminders, session activity inside the app, and your subscriptions through the platform where you purchased them.

On Apple devices, you can manage advertising tracking permission in Settings under Privacy & Security and Tracking.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Talkura is not intended for children under 13 without appropriate parent or guardian involvement where required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
