This policy is tailored to Talkura’s current product shape: live AI speaking sessions, onboarding-based personalization, progress tracking, and subscription-backed access.

1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Talkura collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Talkura website, mobile application, and related services.
Talkura is a language-learning product centered on voice conversations, tutor selection, scenario practice, progress tracking, and vocabulary review.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect account details such as email address, Sign in with Apple identifiers, authentication tokens, and basic profile settings.
We may collect onboarding preferences such as target language, instruction language, tutor selection, tutor coaching style (supportive, playful, or coach), goals, reminder choices, and other learning-plan inputs you provide.
We may process session data including scenario selections, transcripts, voice interaction metadata, lesson performance, vocabulary review outcomes, subscription status, and support communications.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users, personalize tutors and lessons, run live practice sessions, provide pronunciation and lesson feedback, maintain streaks and review queues, process subscriptions, and improve reliability and safety.
We may also use information to diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and respond to user support requests.
4. Tracking And Advertising
Talkura’s onboarding states that the app does not track your activity across apps and websites. We do not describe the service as a cross-app behavioral advertising product.
If analytics or attribution tools are added in the future, this policy should be updated before those practices go live.
5. Sharing
We may share information with infrastructure, authentication, analytics (including Mixpanel), subscription, and AI service providers that help operate Talkura, subject to contractual or technical controls appropriate to the service.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Talkura, our users, or the public.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain product records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
7. Your Choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information by contacting us at privacy@talkura.app.
You may also manage reminders, session activity inside the app, and your subscriptions through the platform where you purchased them.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Talkura is not intended for children under 13 without appropriate parent or guardian involvement where required by law.
10. Changes And Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
